Williams' Harvey Corporate & Ironkids Charity Duathlon in support of Christchurch Mayoral Relief Fund

Where are the proceeds going?

Williams' Harvey are the proud sponsors of this popular annual Duathlon and Iron Kids event run by the HB Multi Sports Club. This year the proceeds from the event will be going to the Christchurch Mayoral Relief Fund. This fund was set up in response to the help and funding needed after the devastating earthquakes of September 2010 and February 2011 in Canterbury.

Is it difficult?

Whilst still a competitive event, the organizers have placed a strong emphasis on family and fun so that the day can be enjoyed by the whole family. There is an 'Ironkid's' Duathlon first thing in the morning followed by the adults Duathlon later in the morning. There is also a 'Walk/Bike/Walk' section, so no excuses!

Bring a Tent and Bring a Picnic

The event is held at Frimley Park which is both a picturesque and child friendly environment and we would like to encourage the teams have some fun and bring their families and friends to support them. Please feel free to set up your tents and bring a BBQ or picnic and enjoy the day.

Dress Up and have some fun

The emphasis is on PARTICIPATION and having fun. We strongly encourage teams to dress up in fancy dress, remember, just by entering a team you are donating to this very worthwhile cause. There are prizes for best fancy dress and lots of spot prizes too.
